How to Find a Good Clovis Real Estate Agent or Realtor
Real estate is a lot like sports. It has its rookies, veterans, bench-warmers, and superstars. With over 3,500 licensed agents in the Fresno / Clovis area, how do you know which agent to choose? Here’s 3 simple ways to find a real estate agent to help you buy or sell your next home. Just remember the 3 “Rs”:

1. Relationship: It often takes months and months to find or sell your home. During this time period your Realtor may begin to seem like a member of the family because of all the time, energy, and conversations you’ll be sharing. The last thing you want is an agent who’s as personable as a piece of cardboard. Tip #1. Find someone you can relate to and who communicates well. It can make all the difference in your real estate experience being either dreadful or wonderful.
2. Response: Ever tried calling a “customer service” number only to find yourself waiting on hold for what seems like hours? Some service. Unfortunately, poor customer service happens in real estate — a lot. In fact, many real estate agents classify their clients into 3 categories: “A, B or C”. The “A” clients are those who are looking to buy or sell a home right away. The “B” clients are 6 months or so away and “C” clients are those who have expressed an interest but have no timetable in mind. Guess which clients get the most service? That’s right, the “A” list. I don’t know about you, but that just seems wrong. Buying a home is the single largest purchase most people make so you should not be penalized for taking your time. Tip #2: Look for a real estate agent who responds to your questions, no matter what stage of the real estate process you’re in.
3. Results: Real estate is a bottom line business. You either found or sold your home for the price you wanted or you didn’t. Good agents won’t just tell you what you want to hear. Instead, they’ll be honest about whether your home goals are realistic. If they are, they’ll be able to deliver the results you wanted. Tip #3. Find an agent who will give you an honest assessment about whether your home goals are realistic so you know whether buying or selling your home is best for you.
At Clovis Real Estate, we don’t think of our clients as “A, B, or C” categories, but as people. That’s why we invite all of our new clients to join us for coffee so you get to know us as people as well. We also give honest assessments of our client’s home goals. Whether you’re buying or selling a Clovis home let us know — we’ll tell you whether we can get you the results you want.
